DESCRIPTION

#3001 Wood Pro-Tect is a water based silicon / polymer blend that penetrates a seals many types and wood products.

USES

#3001 Wood Pro-Tect treated substrates substantially. Average water-repellent properties are stable for 24 months.

-          (Exposure #3001 is primarily used in a situation in which moisture and water damage need to be prevented because of structural stability concerns and integrity.) SEALMARK #3001 will increase the susceptible weather ability and exposure time of moisture to.

COVERAGE

(Wood Pro-Tect) is used to protect wood and wood products from water and moisture damage related to environmental.

The coverage rates for #3001 WoodPro-Tect will vary slightly depending on the substrates being applied to. Average coverage rate for #3001 will be between 200-300sq.ft.

PROPERTIES

DRYING TIME

The drying time of #3001 is dependent upon the ambient air temperature and relative humidity. Under normal conditions (70'f/55% R.H.) the time elapsed for acceptable curing time is 8hrs. After 24hrs. period the #3001 is a completely cured form.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Job Condition – Air and surface temperature for application of #3001

(Wood Pro-Tect) must be at least 40 degrees (f), and must remain so for a period of at least 24 hrs.

Protection – Temporary protection shall be provided at all times for specified duration until (#3001) has achieved a completely cured state to protect form all weather, natural elements and other potential damage.

Substrate Preparation – Surface must be clean, dry, structurally stable and surface temperature must be 39'(f). Surface areas must be free of grease oils, and solvents that can possibly interfere with the bond integrity of SEALMARK #3001.

Mixing Product – Proper mixing procedure for SEALMARK #3001 is to stir vigorously for approximately 35-45 seconds. A drill and a standard paint-mixing bit are recommended. Be careful as to not whip air into the coating.

Application – SEALMARK #3001 can be applied a paintbrush, paint roller or low-pressure spray equipment. Apply SEALMARK #3001 in a uniform consistent manner as to completely cover and penetrate the approved substrate. When applying, take note to completely cover and fill gaps, crevlees and surface voids to ensure complete penetration into the substrate. On rough surfaces a roller is recommended. Apply #3001 in a wet manor.

ONCE SEALMARK #3001 HAS DRIED ITCAN NOT BE RECOATED WITH #3001 OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT.

It is recommended that a small test be performed in an inconspicuous area by applying #3001 and observing that the surface appearance will be acceptable.

Clean up – Use soap and water for clean up when product is not dry. System materials are water-soluble and non-toxic. Clean up any spills, over spray, or residue of the system materials before they have time to set. Cured or dried system materials are not water-soluble an may prove to be difficult to remove without damage to the substrate or other materials which it has dried on. Dispose of waste materials and empty containers into an approved waste disposal facility. Never dump materials into storm or sanitary sewers, nor into bodied of water.

STORAGE

SEALMARK #3001 must be stored at a minimum temperature of 40'(f).

DO NOT ALLOW PRODUCT TO FREEZE!

Storing in temperature closet to room temperature 70'(f) will result in easier application. Always store in tightly sealed containers and out of direct sunlight. Shelf life of SEALMARK #3001 in sealed containers is one year from date manufacture.
